FieldOps Cards · Android 0.1.3 (build 4)

FieldOps Cards privacy policy

How contact cards are stored and shared, and how to contact us.

Effective date: 22 October 2026.

Who operates this app

FieldOps Cards is operated by Constantin E. Tivlica, using the FieldOps studio brand and a personal developer account.

For app support and privacy questions, contact support@fieldops.uk.

Intended audience

FieldOps Cards is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

Information you enter

You can add a name, role, company, email address, introduction, purpose and website or social links to a contact card. Cards and appearance preferences are saved in the app's private storage on your device. The app does not read your phone's contact book.

This version has no app account, app backend, cloud sync, advertising or analytics integration. It does not upload your wallet to a developer-operated server. It does not provide app-level encryption or cloud backup. Android and Google Play operate under their own privacy settings and policies.

Sharing is your choice

A contact QR code contains the selected card's details. Someone who scans it can obtain and retain those details. You can also choose to share a contact file, QR image or readable text through Android's sharing menu, or open the contact-import screen to save a card in another app.

Email, website and social links open external applications. Optional NFC setup writes contact information or a website link to a compatible writable tag after confirmation. Those recipients, tags, apps and websites are outside FieldOps Cards' storage and deletion controls and may retain their own copies.

Storage, retention and removal

Saved cards and preferences remain on the device until changed or the app's stored data is removed. If saved wallet data cannot be read, an original copy may be retained for recovery, even if you later save replacement cards.

Contact and QR exports can remain in the app's private cache. During a later export, the app attempts to delete cached export files older than 48 hours. This is not a guaranteed deletion timer. Android may also reclaim cache storage independently.

You can edit a card to change its current details. To remove the app's stored wallet, preferences, recovery copies and cache, use Android's app-storage controls to clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Device labels vary. There is no developer-hosted wallet account to delete or recover. Keep any information you need before clearing data or uninstalling.

Removing app data does not remove contact-book entries, emails, exported files retained elsewhere, recipients' copies or information written to NFC tags. Those copies must be managed in the relevant destination.

Support correspondence

The FieldOps team handles app support and privacy requests. If you email support, the mailbox receives your email address, message and any information you choose to include so that your request can be handled. Avoid sending passwords or private wallet files unnecessarily. The support mailbox and your email provider also process the message.

We retain support correspondence only while needed to handle the request, resolve related follow-up and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. You can contact support@fieldops.uk with privacy questions or requests about your support correspondence.

Changes

We will update this policy when the app's data handling changes. The published policy will show its effective date.
