A quick guide for players and families
- Your game progress stays on your device. FieldOps does not receive it.
- You do not need a player account, name or email address to play.
- The game has no ads, in-app purchases, player chat or tracking service.
- You can delete your progress in Settings. Android's Clear storage option removes local app data more broadly.
- If you need help, ask a parent or carer to help you contact support@fieldops.uk. You do not have to contact support to play.
Who is responsible
Star Jump is operated by Constantin E. Tivlica under the FieldOps studio brand. The FieldOps team handles support and privacy requests at support@fieldops.uk.
This notice explains the game's local data and optional support correspondence. Website visits are covered separately, as explained below. Google Play, Android and other services you choose to use have their own terms, privacy information and settings.
Information kept by the game
Gameplay runs offline. Star Jump saves progress and preferences in its own storage on your device: stages and unlocks, stars, best scores and times, recipes, selected cat, and sound, vibration and appearance settings. The game does not upload these records to FieldOps, provide cloud saves or synchronise them between devices.
There are no player accounts, advertisements, purchases, analytics integrations or player messaging. The game does not ask for contact details or access your contacts, location, camera or microphone. Optional vibration uses Android's vibration permission.
The privacy notice is available from Welcome > Settings > Privacy and Pause > Settings > Privacy. The bundled text can be read offline.
Keeping and removing local data
Progress and preferences remain on the device until changed or removed. In Settings, Delete all progress, followed by confirmation, removes the saved-game file and its backup and temporary copies. It resets progress, stars, records, recipes, selected cat and preferences.
This control does not promise to remove game-engine diagnostic logs or Android-managed caches. To remove the app's local storage more broadly, use Android's app settings to clear its storage, or uninstall it. Android's labels vary by device. FieldOps has no server copy or player account from which to restore deleted progress.
If you contact support
Support is optional. Our mailbox receives your reply address, message and any information or attachments you choose to send. The FieldOps team uses only what is needed to answer your request, investigate the problem and handle necessary follow-up. We do not use support messages to build advertising profiles or sign you up for marketing.
Our lawful basis for ordinary support correspondence is our legitimate interest in providing useful, secure help, balanced against your privacy. Handling a privacy-rights request may also be necessary to meet our legal obligations.
Please send only what is needed, such as the app version and a description of the problem. Parents and carers should help children contact support where possible. If a child contacts us directly, we will respond appropriately and ask for adult help where needed; adult assistance is not a condition of asking a privacy question. Avoid sending a child's full name, address, photographs, passwords or other unnecessary identifying information. None is required to play.
The FieldOps team and our business email service, Microsoft 365, process support correspondence. Microsoft's commercial data-processing terms include the 2021 Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum for covered international transfers. Processing may occur outside the UK. Microsoft's published terms are available at https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/docs/view/Microsoft-Products-and-Services-Data-Protection-Addendum-DPA. Contact support@fieldops.uk for details of the safeguards relevant to your correspondence. We do not promise UK-only email storage.
Support retention and review
The FieldOps team reviews correspondence when a request is resolved or its necessary follow-up ends, and removes information no longer needed. We remove unnecessary identifying attachments sooner. An unresolved request remains assigned to a team member for follow-up; we reassess the information needed when handling that follow-up, a change in the request or a privacy request.
If limited records are needed for a particular complaint, security incident, legal obligation or legal claim, we record the reason, the responsible team member and the event or review that determines when they can be removed. We do not retain every message or attachment simply because some record may be useful. Any useful bug summary can be kept without identifying details where those details are unnecessary.
These are support-handling criteria, not a promise of automatic deletion or immediate erasure of every provider copy. Mail recovery copies, provider security records and any justified holds can have separate lifecycles. Contact support@fieldops.uk about the handling relevant to your request. There is no developer-hosted game-save record to retain alongside an email.
Your rights concerning correspondence
You can contact support@fieldops.uk to ask what information we hold from your messages or request access, correction, deletion or restriction where the relevant right applies. Portability applies where its legal conditions are met. We may need proportionate verification and must protect other people's information. Some limited records may need to be kept for a legal obligation or legal claim.
You can object to our use of your correspondence based on legitimate interests. Tell us at support@fieldops.uk; we will consider your request under the applicable rules.
You can also raise a privacy complaint with us or complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. These routes do not depend on creating a game account.
Google Play and Android
Google Play and Android may process information for installation, updates, security and their other services under their own policies and settings. These platform functions may require a connection even though gameplay and saved progress are local. This does not mean the game uploads your progress to FieldOps.
Reading this policy online
The bundled game notice can be read offline. If you choose to open the online version, your system browser makes a website request. That website visit is separate from gameplay and does not send your saved progress to FieldOps. Website processing is explained in the FieldOps website privacy notice at https://fieldops.uk/privacy/. This game-and-support notice does not certify the website's hosting or all of its processing arrangements.
Changes
We update this notice when the game's data handling changes and show its version date. New connected features or data collection need a fresh assessment and an updated notice before use.
