A service website becomes useful when it helps someone explain what they need. For a group transfer, that starts with the journey: where the group is going, when it needs to travel, and who and what must come along.
Our 7 Plus Minibus website project is organised around Southampton cruise transfers, airports and group travel. The original website and enquiry package was handed over in September 2026. Later enhancements are separate from that delivery.
Start with the journey
Different trips lead to different questions. A cruise transfer starts with a port or terminal. An airport journey needs the relevant airport and travel details. Group travel brings people, collection points and luggage into the same conversation.
Make those situations recognisable before asking someone to fill in a form. Service and vehicle information can help a visitor work out whether the business fits the trip they are planning.
Help people bring the useful details
Three prompts give the first enquiry a practical shape:
- Where? Collection and destination, including a relevant terminal or port.
- When? Travel date and timing, with room to explain the journey.
- Who and what? The group and luggage requirements.
The point is to make the next conversation easier. Keep the wording familiar and make it clear what someone should prepare before asking for a quote.
Make the next step clear
An enquiry is a conversation with the business. Its wording should explain what the visitor is requesting and how to make contact. It should not imply that a vehicle, price or booking has already been confirmed.
That is the wider lesson for service websites: organise information around the customer's decision, help them describe their situation, then give them a clear route to an enquiry.
